The Poisonous Sting of Porn: Weapons of 'Moral Destruction'
Experts explain that there are two types of porn: Soft Porn and Hard core Porn. People of moral consider both of them lethal for moral destruction. Both are equally poisonous, with the soft taking your moral toll softly and the hard, hammering obscenity on your mind aggressively. The Webster and the Cambridge Dictionary describes Pornography as vulgar, obscene, filthy…..
In the early sixties when vulgar porn magazine Play boy began its hiss, it enjoyed a monopoly over the minds of sex maniac. Today with lots of rival around, in form of harder porn, PlayBoy looks very modest to the people who are saturated with over exposure to sex. In the beginning of this century serving Porn was taken over by M TV presenting weird fantasized songs that included young women fantasizing their own rapes, I would term it as ‘Glamorization of Rape’ .
Then came the invasion of internet capturing a huge chunk of entertainment and privacy was broadened. Vulgar scenes, banned advertisements, uncensored shots of Hollywood, Bollywood.. were displayed for people of all age to see. The real danger stung few years back. A different dimension in porn world emerged beating all the records of previous vulgarity. Home made porn movies became the in thing, freely available on you tube, opening the doors and windows of many bedrooms and turning them into free guest rooms for sex hungry to peep inside watching the private moments of couples. If this was less, MMS of adulterers and fornicators are being freely distributed among school children, corporate world…. This brought down the business of porn industry which released around 20 thousand Adult Entertainment in San Francisco alone
After years of essentially steady increases, sales and rentals of pornographic videos were $3.62 billion in 2006, down from $4.28 billion in 2005, according to estimates by AVN, an industry trade publication. “People are making movies in their houses and dragging and dropping them” onto free Web sites, said Harvey Kaplan, a former maker of pornographic movies and now chief executive of GoGoBill.com, which processes payments for pornographic Web sites. “It’s killing the marketplace.” (Mat Richtel ,New York Times 2 June, 2007)
The results are devastating . Impractical expectations a result of hyper sexual desired generated by porn movies has prompted many couples to seek pleasures out of marriage.
The thinking that wife swapping is limited to only the metro cities of New york, San Francisco, London Paris, Delhi, Mumbai …. has long become history. Now in the small cities, wife swap has become more of a craze and people want to indulge in it initially, out of curiosity and later, for sheer fun
Just like most of the things in this world, wife swapping also has brought along with it destructive aspects. There are chances of the swapped partners getting emotionally attached with each other, posing great threat to their married life. In such a case, instead of adding ‘spice’ to the married life, wife swap will result in divorce. Then, there are chances of contracting AIDS and other STDs, though most of the couples who indulge in swapping request for an HIV- report. Infact they are AIDs Swapping in disguise of wife swapping
The stigma of date rapes are fast loosing its significance and sliding their position in the corner of the inside pages of news papers
Young girls and boys who read filthy novels stuffed with detailed description of bed room acts can also be included among those who are into porn because words too , many a times work more effectively than mere pictures. Some young people argue that they have good self control and would never step into the world of immodesty even if they read such novels. They are wrong. By reading such novels they have already splashed into the ocean of obscenity and vulgarity, it makes no matter whether they are sinking or swimming upto the other side. As Shaikh Ahmed Deedat used to say: You read junk books and you think junk and you become junk......
That reflects the famous Qur’anic verse from Surah Isra ch 17, verse 32. Do not go close to adultery……..
