JAZAKALLAHU KHAIRAN KASEERAN KASEERAH…

  Muhammad Raghib Khan
   A Slave of ALLAH SWT.
(Muhafiz Azmat-e-Sahaba R.A.A.)

Virtues of Abu Bakr in Shia books.

Virtues of Abu Bakr in Shia books:

*After Khadijah [R.A], the first one to embrace Islam was Abu Bakr [R.A].
[Tafsir Majma Al Bayan, 5/113]

*Ali [R.A] said: Caliph (of Rasulullah [S.A.W.W]) Abu Bakr [R.A], was the best of in Islam and was the most well-wisher and faithful to Allah and His Messenger. And his Caliph, Caliph Umar Farooq [R.A] was also like the same (as you understood). I swear by my age, that their status in Islam was such a great. And their death caused Islam, a severe shock. May Allah have mercy upon (both of) them, and give them the best reward for their good deeds.
[Sharh Nahj Al Balagha, Ibne Maithum Al Bahrani, 31/486]

*Family origin of Hadhrat Jafar Al Sadiq [R.H]:
  1. Abu Bakr [R.A] is (from) my grand-father, do someone (likes to) abuse his forefathers?May Allah not give me any respect if I not accept the dignity and respect of Abu Bakr[R.A]. [Ihqaq Al Haq, pg 7]
  2. I'm included in the lineage of Abu Bakr [R.A] by two ways. [Ihqaq Al Haq, pg 7]

*When Rasulullah [S.A.W.W] (and Abu Bakr [R.A]) was in the cave, He (Prophet) said to Abu Bakr: (as if) I am seeing Jafar Tayyar and the boat of his mates (traveling to Habsha). Abu Bakr asked: Are You seeing them? Prophet replied: Yes. Abu Bakr said: make me see that too. So the Prophet swiped His hand on Abu Bakr's eyes, and Abu Bakr seen them. So He (Prophet) said to Abu Bakr: You are Siddiq.
[Tafsir Al Qummi, Al Taubah, verse 40]

* Incident of Cave Thar
The son of Abu Bakr [R.A] use to come daily in the evening, and would deliver (them) water and food. Prophet [S.A.W.W] said to the son of Abu Bakr: You are just like your father, pure and sincere.
[Ghazwat Haideri (Urdu), pg 66]

*The one who came with the truth is Prophet Muhammad [S.A.W.W]. And the one who testified it, is Abu Bakr [R.A].
[Tafsir Majma Al Bayan, 4/498]

*Prophet [S.A.W.W] always use to say in the company of Sahabah, that: the virtue and status of Abu Bakr is not due to offering Salat and Fasting, but it is due to his hearteous believing and sincerity.
[Majalis Al Mumineen (Persian), pg 88]

*Imam Taqi said: I am not a denier of Umar [R.A]'s status (virtues), but Abu Bakr [R.A] is (more) virtuous than Umar [R.A].
[Ehtijaj Al Tibrisi, pg 250]

Who are Ismaili (Aga Khani) ?

Who are Ismaili (Aga Khani) ?

Islamili (Aga Khani) and their difference of belief from Muslims.

1. The Ismailis (followers of the Aga Khan) all professedly believe that the Qur'an was time bound and was not meant to be a Universal message for all times. They believe that their spiritual leader, Karim Aga Khan, is the "walking - talking Qur'an" and his "religious pronouncements", whatever they may be, are the "guidance" for the present times. The fundamental article of faith that there will not be any NEW revelations or "wahy" after the Qur'an, is being completely violated by the Ismailis.

2. The Aga Khan has officially Declared himself, before his followers, as the "Mazhar of Allah on earth". The word "mazhar" means "copy" or "manifest". Consequently, these Ismailis who call themselves Muslims do "sujood" before him. So even the primary axiomatic principle of Tawheed is being fundamentally and formally violated by them.

3. The Ismailis are not instructed to offer the Islamic Salaah, observe Saum or perform Hajj. They have replaced Salaah with certain shirk-infested Dua'as (thrice a day). They are told that their Hajj is a personal "Glimpse" (Deedaar) of Karim Aga Khan.

4. The Aga Khan and his appointees 'forgive the sins' of the followers on regular basis. Ismailis are misled into believing that they will not be questioned on the Day of Judgment for the sins that are already forgiven in their Jamatkhanas (community centers). Forgiving of sins is the exclusive prerogative and privilege of Allah (swt) alone. Qur'an 3:135.

5. Against this backdrop, most of the poor (spiritually poor) Ismailis who are not introduced to al-Furqan are confused and misguided. Hence, Ismailis are very easy prey to missionary efforts by various Christian groups and Baha'is. I have known a couple of young ex-Ismailis who are today preaching "Pauline Christianity" to Ismailis as evangelical missionaries.

6. Karim Aga Khan's own daughter Zahra having married a practising Christian has opened the gates for young Ismailis girls to follow the footsteps of a family member of their beloved Imam-e-Zaman. The parents of the Ismaili girls who wish to marry outside of Islam have no recourse but to let them go.

7. The Aga Khan has made Halaal for the Ismailis that which Allah has made Haraam for the Muslims. Taking of interest (usury) is not forbidden by the religious instruction classes run by the "Tariqaah" board of the Ismailis. As a matter of fact, the much publicized "Venture Capital" program (details on the website of FORBES Magazine - search under "Aga Khan"), of loaning funds on interest by the AKFED (Aga Khan Fund & Economic Development), has been a great success. Similar entrepreneurial projects are now being actively promoted and introduced to poor Muslims of Tajikistan and neighboring areas.

8. The Muslim Ummaah and the various Muslim leaders are not fully aware of these Un-Islamic acts and beliefs of this community of less than two million members, who claim to be the Ismaili Muslims. Surprisingly, their leader Aga Khan claims himself to be a spiritual leader of 15 million Muslims and a Direct Descendant of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam).

9. Earlier, one did not have authentic books on Ismailism, but it is not so anymore. There are two authentic books as well as one comprehensive web site exposing the inner practices of the Ismailis and the Proclamations (Farmans) of the Aga Khans. Hence, now you have no "hujjah" argument or excuse left before Allah (swt) for not taking up the task of inviting the misguided "Ismaili Muslims" towards the Deen of Allah (swt) and not safeguarding them from committing unpardonable sin of Shirk.

10. The Aga Khan in collaboration with so many Western powers and aid, has set up the world-wide Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) which runs several institutions and service companies both in the profit and not for profit sectors. This network is very actively operating in Pakistan, India, Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya and Bangladesh, and has now started concentrating its efforts in Tajikistan and the neighbouring areas where there is a concentration of Muslims who have not known or openly practised Islam for the decades. By taking up economical, social, educational and rural development efforts through NGOs (Non-Govt. Organizations) within the AKDN, the Ismailis and the Aga Khan have gained wide acceptance amongst these countries and masses.

The Year of Islam : Events that mattered to the Muslim World 2011

The Year of Islam : Events that mattered to the Muslim World 2011

by Nisaar Y. Nadiadwala on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 6:18pm

The year has almost ended and many in media are coming out with stories that mattered to them. So I also thought of serving a few of my own observations that happened last year jugjing its importance from the Muslim perspective. Some of them are hit and some flop some exciting and inspiring while some dull. The Times Magazine has anounced " The Protestors " as the man of the year. But which protestors? European or American ? or Indian?

The fire in Tunisia spread in other countries of the Middle east. It followed by a the spring spread in Egypt, then in Libya..... Similiar things happened in the Europe with 85 cities coming out on the street to protest against the capitalism the crowd was as large as those in the Arab streets. The crowd in Tele aviv of Israel was around 2oo thousand..and the crowd in Moscow too ran up to half a million and in Indian cities too.. but none of them got the government or the system replaced by the better one except the Muslim countries. They not only drove away their heads of the state or killed them but also got many Islamists into the parliamentElections in Egypt and the Islamic parties were elected by the people of Egypt to rule over them.. What a Democratic victory of Islam!!! ? Communism is almost dead and capitalism is still killing but Islam is winning..

In India ,the confession of Aseem, the hardest liner Hindu fanatic, who gave up his hard line and submitted to the court confessing of his involvement in Mecca Masjid Bomb blast along with three other blasts. The news is important because the Muslim youth arrested innocently, served the old man Aseem in the jail and became a reason to inspire the man to confess his crime. Among the best example of how Islamic sword of humbleness and character over powered staunchest of the enemies. This is on the top of my list of the most important events related to Islam and Muslims in the year 2011.

The Christian year ends with more news of civil war in Syria.. and lot of killings but US and Nato will not send their army to topple them.. Do you know why? The protestors are Salafis and the goverment is shia...!!!!Threat of an attack on Iran continues but many people are betting against it. For many, Iran, Israel and US are hands in gloves...Allah knows the best

In the month of April, France banned hijab Officially, the result in the other part of the world was : More popularity of Hjab amongthe Muslim women . In the same month Terry Jones finally burnt the Qur'an and the most hostile reactions were felt in Afghan after Hamid Karzai himself screamed at the insult of the Holy Book.

The first week of May saw the news of Osama bin Laden killed by US army, the body was never shown. If you hunt a tiger would you just get rid off its body without showing it to the world ? . With elections in the US around the corner it is obvious that some thing of Rambo style actions would be undertaken by the out going President who does not want to go out.

Killing of Anwer Awlaki : The news of killing od Anwer Awlaki may not have made an impact in the world like the killing of Osama bin Laden, but the message to those are fighting against the western interests was firm : You can be killed any where any time if you are an obstacle to the new world order.

Killing of Gaddhafi: Whether Gaddhafi was good or bad, we leave this debate for the scholars, but his killing has a message. Even the Muslim rulers who are submitting to the western rulers are not safe. As The Qur'an says" the jews and Christians will never be happy with you unless you follow their millat...Surah Baqarah : 120

Peace Conference 2011 :
Many people thought that the yearly grand Da'wah program will not take place this year but Allah got it done. A peace conference in Mumbai is equal to more than a thousand episodes for Peace TV. There fore the conclusion is that a peace conference in Mumbai means thousands of hours of Islamic knowledge software to be ready for billions of viewers through Peace TV as well as youtube, face boook...

 Spread of Islam :
Few big names entered in Islam announcing that Islam has no barriers Journalist and broadcaster Lauren Booth, 43 – Cherie Blair's sister – now wears a hijab whenever she leaves her home, prays five times a day and visits her local mosque whenever she can.

Prominent South African Cricket fast bowler Wayne Parnell in a statement announced his conversion to Islam from Christianity. He has also changed his named to Waleed after his conversion to Islam earlier in January this year.

 New Dawah stars in 2011:
The Da'wah Horizon enlightened with new stars shining brighter by reaching out to many through youtube. You only have to go to you tube and check the clicks and compare it with my claims. Naumanali Khan, Assim Alhakim and Mohammed Alshareef rose to a new height of honour and respect in the hearts and minds of students of Islam, as more topics of their talks were aired on various channels and social sites.

As the world goes older and Qiyamah comes closer.. Islam grows faster..The year 2011 belonged to Islam..

The Dwarf Who Grew Into A Giant : A Story of Overcoming Physical Hazards..

The Dwarf Who Grew Into A Giant : A Story of Overcoming Physical Hazards..

by Nisaar Y. Nadiadwala on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 7:42pm

This is the story of a man whose height is only 18 inches, but his stature is higher than a giant. Dhanji bhai Lalji bhai is from Bhuj, the city of north Gujarat, which faced a devastating earthquake few years back. When Dhanji was born his bones did not developed properly so his height did not grew. His parents sold of their property to match his medical expenses. But nothing could get the boy taller than 18 inches.

Dhanji had a difficult childhood. His classmates and the other chidlren in school teased him for being short. He was the fifth child of his parents and all his elder brothers were healthy got substantial education. Dhanji had to discontinue his education after Grade 10 due to unbearable torture he had to undergo in his school. Now he was workless.

As years passed, one after another brother got married picked up a job and settled seperately with his own wife and children, leaving the aged parents alone with Dhanji. Finally the days of financial penury casted upon the old parents. It was then , Dhanji the shorty decided to do something. Should I beg standing outside a temple or should I work? If I worked how much can I earn ?

Then Dhanji decided not to take up begging or a job but do something of his own. he learnt the repairing of motor bikes. He continued in it one after another bike started getting admitted into his clinic and came out repaired. Dhanji started becoming famous. Then he turned to repairing refregerator, airconditioners and other electrical machines. Once he wanted to expand his garage so he asked some loan from his brothers but they refused. yet Dhanji persistedin running his garage onhis own and even today he looks after his old parents. It has been now twenty years that Dhanji the short man has grown into a giant. The city respects him, the parents love him and I and you should take some lessons from him.

How many of us can carry on looking after our old parents in a respectable manner? This man with a handicapped height and no skills had a mission. To serve his old parents. So he alooked around for a skill and he got it and he developed it. He wanted to be grateful to his parents for bringing him up inspite of his short height. They were not ashamed of him so he serves them in their old age. He pleased his parents when his brothers deserted them.

We have a mission, biggeer than that. We have to please Allah. We have to be grateful to Him for giving us many things we cannot even list. Dhanji worked hard to serve his parents and we have to wrok hard to serve Allah and that includes serving parents. If we are helpful to our parents other needy people then we are pleasing Allah and thanking HIm. Will you begin now?

Emotional, Intellectual and Moral Infidelity': A Note By Naushad Noorani

Emotional, Intellectual and Moral Infidelity': A Note By Naushad Noorani

by Nisaar Y. Nadiadwala on Monday, December 26, 2011 at 3:33pm

The following note is written by my dear friend Naushad Noorani. I am sharing it with my Readers .

Let me provoke you: You may be indulging in ignored shades of infidelity

Some of you will hate me for writing this piece, some of you may think iIam too conservative, or a pervert, or mad, or that I have a disease in my heart or have lost it. But read this piece you must. And of course, respond and rebut if you may.

Just about 85 years back or so, whenever there was any inter-mingling between women and men, it was in person, and communication between a man and a woman was either face to face, or behind a curtain, or through a whisper or a glance or through handwritten letters or through a person that plays the role of a messenger between an unrelated man and a woman.

Hence, when care & caution was to be exercised on the issue of refraining from free intermingling between the two genders, there was a greater amount of restraint also because of the difficulties involved.

Now, those difficulties and obstacles no longer exist. Intermingling, communicating and sharing of feelings, views and ideas takes place so easily through sms, email, videochats, skype, FaceBook and other social media sites and also on phone.

The issue here is as follows:
a) You will agree that Satan is our avowed enemy and that he does and will use every possible trick and ploy to deceive us into gradually disobeying Allah swt more & more.

b) The moment you and I, or anyone thinks "this cannot happen with me, or I will never ever do this or fall into this" - when we start believing and thinking such, it is a sign of complacency, over-confidence and also lighter shades of pride and vanity. This too is Satan deceiving you and I. This feeling of “this will never happen with me” leads us to lower our guards and we may sin or we may invite a test from Allah swt.

c) Most of us associate the words 'fidelity' and 'intimacy' with physical aspects. However there are shades of emotional and intellectual intimacy and fidelity (or infidelity). It is these aspects that Satan makes us overlook and herein lies the danger.

d) Dont forget that the best of parents & siblings (in case of those that are single) and the best of husbands and wives can never be complete packages of all traits and qualities that we may want or desire in a spouse (or in a sibling or in parents). Each one of us may have varied unfulfilled desires: many of us may think thus: I wish my spouse was more intelligent, wittier, a better and more empathetic listener, more tech-savvy, a better speaker, a better writer, younger, more world-wise, more knowledgable about this subject, or whatever. Now some of us fill this gap through our friends, relatives and neighbours of the same gender.

Yet due to the advent of texting, sms, email, chats, webcams, et al, some of us may start e-conversations, e-dialogues and e-relations with those of the opposite gender that are not our Mahrams, and this brings us closer to them in ways that perhaps was not possible decades back without openly acknowledging that this is nothing but free intermingling.

While one may wish and also say this is mere platonic friendship, it may lead to what I call emotional and intellectual infidelity. What gaps I have in intimacy (not physical) with my spouse, I may try to fill this void with an e-friendship with a non-Mahram. Please chill over here: this email is addressed to a very wide list of contacts, so there is no one person specifically in my mind while writing this piece.

Now you may say that hey this is not fair, Naushad, don't you interact with ladies in your office and workspace? True, one does, but the effort must be to minimize and not to take this as an excuse to do the same outside of work life.

Also, when the e-relation is between those that are like-minded in spiritual matters and share the same religious fervor and mission, an affinity and a liking to develop is easier.

And one thing may lead to another. Not necessarily phyical, but a greater bond of friendship, attraction, mutual liking, admiration and intimacy, which may make the marital life have a greater void or a strained relationship with one's spouse. Most of us our possessive about our spouses and do not like them chatting or texting or emailing a non-Mahram.

Perhaps one solution, amongst other solutions that you may suggest, is: please minimize all e-interactions to the bare minimum for the work on hand to get done and refrain from sweet melodious e-words of praise, appreciation, emoticons, smileys, etc. without sacrificing courtesy.

Now just a small thought on Moral Fidelity: how do I dress? Is it something that attracts unwanted attention and lustful glances? Why advertise something that you do not wish to share, gift or sell? Why let non-Mahrams feast on your beauty which is only for your immediate family members? This is what I refer to as Moral Infidelity.

Have I lost it completely? Or am I on track (at least on the thought processes, if not in my deeds and actions) about the issue of intermingling, and on the issues of what I call 'emotional, intellectual and moral infidelity' ???

A Christmas without Ahmed Deedat

A Christmas without Ahmed Deedat

by Nisaar Y. Nadiadwala on Sunday, December 25, 2011 at 2:32pm

Two Indians, both from Gujarat, India, began their respective missions from South Africa and carried across the world. Both were immensly successful and their approach remains powerful to be imitated. Mahatma Gandhi and Ahmed Deedat. What ever material you find these days on social websites and, youtube videos regarding Jesus as not being God are directly or inndirectly borrowed from Ahmed Deedat. On this occasion when our Christians friends are celebrating Christmas let me remind my readers some information from Shaikh Ahmed Deedat's life

Deedat started his anti Christian tirade as a simple sales boy who was approached by the nearby MIssionary center as a practice box to train the new pastors and missonaries. Day after Day he was bothered by them and was posed by questions regarding Islam to cnfuse him. He was a case study for them , in how to confuse a Muslims. Today there are many Christians who are doing Phds on Deedat's approach. When Deedat's cannons were firing in fulll bloom the missionaries in US UK used to hold special sessions on how to face Deedat.

For those who dont know.... "Deedat's first lecture, entitled "Muhammad: The Messenger of Peace", was delivered in 1942 to an audience of just fifteen people at a Durban movie theatre named Avalon Cinema..Deedat's most famous moment came when he managed to land a debate withtelevangelist Jimmy Swaggart at a time when Swaggart was one of the leading faces of Evangelical Christianity. The debate entitled Is The Bible the Word of God?, was held in Swaggart's hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana in November 1986 at the University of Louisiana, where it was attended by about 8,000 people.

Among the amusing statements I remember, one is here: The South African government used to ban any obscene literature that would corrupt the tender young minds. So some rockstars were banned and also some novels of D.H Lawerence also banned.. So some one cut pasted some vulagar and obscene chapters from the Bible and sent it by post to the clearing department .. Not knowing that it was from the Bible the authority banned those papers and said they are filthy enough to corrupt their youth !!!!!

It was Deedat who promoted the book, The 100: A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History by MIchael Hart. It was Deedat who started the concept of Islamic Daw'ah centers, and now most of the big cities in the world have Islamic da'wah centers.

Among the finest daw'ah videos are the ones which has Deedat debating with the senior Miitary officers of US in an army base. The real fun also includes Deedat scolding them politely and asking to remain quite and attentive when he speaks to them. The camera shows the Seniors Officers sitting with their bibles and Deedat speaking from his memory. A wonderful display of scholarly content and arguments. I being a student and a trainer of public speaking, my observations say that Deedat is among the best orators of the world in his field. He was honored as a "Muslim scholar of Christian Bible" There is no doubt that if your content matches your presentations and is fuelled with your passions then it is a masterpiece product

He spent the last nine years of his life in a bed in his home in Verulam, South Africa, encouraging people to engage in Da'wah. A very difficult time for a man who constatnly was on move to promote Islam But Deedat would not take things lying down. He was flown to King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh, where he was reported to be fully alert and hence taught to communicate through a series of eye-movements via a chart whereby he would form words by acknowledging individual alphabets read out to him; this way he would form complete sentences. Reports tells us that Christians visited him and Deedat did Da'wah to them

May Allah grant him success in akhera and forgive his sins.
Ameen

In 1999, during my early days in IRF, one evening a middle aged man came to visit us. He had a strange story. He was a very rich man who constantly travelled across Europe for most part of the year. Twenty years ago he had married a Christian lady from whom he had two beautiful daughters. All these years he thought that his wife has reverted to Islam. But it was not so. In his abscence she used to visit the local Jehowa witness church in Khar Mumbai. Her daughters too followed her

One day a delegation of Missionaries came to visit him to invite him to Christianity. The man was shocked to know that his wife and daughters were about to be Baptised. So he fixed up an appointment with the Missionaries at his home and invited us to have a dialogue with them.

We reached the place, it was a large flat. There were Christian missionaries in one corner and quite surprisingly two bearded men appearing like moulana, on an adjacent sofa. I was in my cradle as far as the interfaith dialogues were concerned. So I took a place in the corner to see the discussion and learn from the two bearded men and my senior daees on one side and the missionaries on the other. The discussion began with the introduction of each of us. Then the host announced " these are my daughters and my wife sitting here to see and know which is a correct religion between Islam and Christianity"

The discussion began and as it rolled further but to my surprise the missionaries withdrew out silently and the two moulanas, whom I was looking upto, started defending Christianity, with the help of Quranic verses. It was unbelievable. One of their dialogue pierced in my heart when one of us asked them "Are you two Muslims or Christians ?" They replied " We are Believers , Momins" They were referring to Surah Imran verse 110 where Allah says : Had the Ahle Kitab believed it would have been better for them, AMONG THEM ARE BELIEVERS ...

The cards were played and the game was opened. They were payed to allure innocent Muslims into Christianity. Hypocrisy of a superlative degree. So now we had two fronts. One to prove that Christinaity is not truth nor is the Bible the word of God and defend the Qur'an as well. The so called moulanas had done a good homework. They were proving Christianity's authenticity from the Qur'an. "Must be paid highly " one of us quipped later while returning.

Suddenly the discussion ended with the announcement by the missionaries " Look you Muslims are fighting among yourselves regarding Christianity. " He wanted to convinced the girls that there is a difference of opinion amongs the Muslims regarding Christinaity !!! It was a stunning performance by the two munafiqs of our times. WE did not loose the debate because my senior dae'es , though were not as big debators like Dr Zakir, but did a very good job, by pointing umpteen flaws in the bible and giving proper clarificatins about Qur'an.

Later we never met the poor father but we came to know that the lady and her daughters went to Christianity and the man left them.Later on we came to know both the bearded men that they were on the paying list of the Bible classes who gave them 100 $US i.e. 5000 Indian Rupees per month to allure Muslim youngsters to attend Bible classes. Both of them claimed to be graduates from Madrsas.

Do you know why I mentioned this story ? Be aware of missionaries, they come in all forms to loot your akehra and pluck out your hapiness. They are around us in the form of afairs, boyfriends, girlfriends, glossy magazines, polite co travellers....

Happy Birthday God !!!!!! Can You Digest This Phrase?

Happy Birthday God !!!!!! Can You Digest This Phrase?

Christmas is here and so the marketing of Jesus's godship through festivals, wine, dance parties, Christmas cards and Christmas cakes will be in full boom. In my school days Christmas was celebrated with a teacher becoming Santa Claus and giving us gifts. Story books about wonderful help by Santa Claus to young children were given to us to read to cultivate an affectionate bond with Santa.

There are thousands of English schools run by the Missionaries in Mumbai alone where cultural Christianity is inserted through festivals. A couple of years back I was invited to share the stage in a huge Cathedral school in Mahim. It was a few days before Christmas vacation. I thought it was a good opportunityt o do daw'ah to Christian students by talking to them in their own church. So when my turn came I rose up and said : Assalamualaikum...To my surprise I received a thick chorus of Walaikumussalam....More than half the students were Musims assembled in the church !

Have you considered this : The Christians ruled the entire Indian subcontinent for almost a century. Thye built railways, started postal services, ran schools, colleges, hospitals and orphanages, yet by the time they left India they could not convert the Hindus and the Muslims to Christianity in large numbers! They still hapen to be in micro minority.

A new Muslim, who was earlier a Hindu, was approached by a Christian to be a Christian. The revert responded .: Can you give me few reasons why I should leave Krishna and Rama and instead worship Jesus ?.. I used to worship human gods in a large numbers, Islam made me left them and now you want to add one more human in the list of human gods I have already left?

Islam is the only religion which has protected the original concept of God. It has structured the fundamentals of Touhid in no less than one third of the verses of Qur'an. The longest Surah that was revealed at a time with 165 verses was Surah al An'am and almost all of them spoke about Touhid the Islamic monotheism. Those who want to introduce Allah in detail should present Surah al An'am. This Surah is stuffed with the wonderful qualities of Allah which no one in His creations can posses. Not even Jesus.

If you study Judaism and Christianity you will notice two extremes in the terms of the concept of God. The Jews have made god so low that he can be defeated by his slave Jacob in wrestling (Genesis 22 : 14) he can regret for creating the universe...where as the Christians have raised the position of Jesus to such a height that he was taken up as god.

Among the finest, easiest and most logical arguement that refutes the godship of Jesus, comes from Ahmed Deedat in his debate with Anis Shorrosh " Is Jesus God " The wise man put forth a simple question " If Jesus is god or if all the three in the Trinity , The Father, The Holy Ghost and the son are one, then can we address Father (God ) as Jesus ? Can we call Holy Ghost as father ? Can we call Jesus as Father ? Ahmed Deedat himself replied " NO !!! In the entire churchdom this would be counted as a blaspheme , a heresy" He concluded to which Anis Shorrosh had no answer and I am sure non of the Christian Missionary would also have an answer.

Maqam e Ibrahim : The Status of Ibrahim, Peace Be Upon Him

Maqam e Ibrahim : The Status of Ibrahim, Peace Be Upon Him

by Nisaar Y. Nadiadwala on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 9:22pm

Have you considered this : Among the other titles of the religion Islam, one is " Millat e Ibrahim Hanifa" and Allah calls it "Deenan qayyimam-millat e Ibrhaim hanifa " A straight forward religion the religion of Ibrahim the true in faith...It is no less than at six places in the Qur'an. Besides Propht Muhammed peace be upon him, Ibrahim peace be upon him is the other Prophet who is " an excellent example to follow " says the 6th verse of Surah Mumtahina. He is honoured as a "Ummah", though ummah means a group or an enitre nation ! In the vicinity of Haram there is a Zamzam, Safa and Marwa, Rukn e Yemeni ... but we have a Maqam e Ibrahim.. the place where the Imam stands up to lead the prayers..

The Qur'an announces some of the excellent qualities of Ibrahim peace be upon him and a few of them are :

1. He was " la'awwahumuneeb" Tender hearted and Forebearing (Surah Toubah : 114)

2. Ibrahim was "ummaten Kanitan"..Devoutely obedient (Surah Hud : 75)

3. He was "Shakiran" Thankful for the favours of Allah (Surah Nahl : 121)

4. He approached his Lord with a "Qalbin saleem" A sound heart ( Surah Saffat: 84)

5. Allah made him " linaas Imaam" a leader for mankind (Surah Baqarah:124)

6. And Allah took him as a "Khaleel " a close friend (Surah Nisa'a : 125 )

7. Allah mentions him in the Qur'an as "siddiqan nabiya" a Truthful Prophet (Surah Maryam : 41)

Besides these, we have Ibrahim peace be upon him in the Qur'an as a devouted worshipper of Allah with a superlative tawaqqal (trust, confidence and faith) upon Allah,

1. When he is commanded to leave his wife and child in the lonely valley of Makkah with no human being around!

2. When he is commanded to slaughter his beloved son Isma'el

3. When he is thrown in the fire..he refuses to take the help of the angels who are sent as a test..

We have Ibrahim the Dawah activist of Islam

1. When he debates with the King Namrood in his court and defeats him

2. When he questions bravely his own people including his beloved father about the idols they worshipped, the crowd was terribe hostile one..

We have Ibrahim the affectionate father :

1. When Allah announces that He will make Ibrahim as a leader for the mankind, he immediately asked for the same blessing for his offsprings too. " Wamin zurriyati " and "Ya bunayya " are the two phrases which are used by Ibrhaim for his offsprings.

2. When He prays to Allah to make him perfect and puncutal in worshipping he adds " wamin zurriyati" and my offsprings too

3. When he is building the Kabah with Ismail his son helping him, he prays " O Allah accept this from us " he includes his son

4. When he is on the death bed he reminds his sons to worship only Allah though his sons were also Prophets !

5. He prays to Allah to save him and HIS OFFSPRINGS from idol worshipping

6. He prays for a Prophet among his children (Prophet Muhammed peace be upon him) to teach the book and wisdom to people.

NO wonder Allah accepted all the prayers of Ibrahim and granted him every thing, including a chain of Prophets in his lineage including the last prophet.

As the Qur'an says : Indeed in Ibrahim peace be upon him is an excellent example for us to follow... let us try to be an excellent models's for our children, and try to be an excellent daee of Islam amd put our trust in Allah whenever we need and also thank Allah for his blessings other wise the stories of Ibrahim may just pass away from one genertion to another like those of fairy tales without benefitting us..
